Move Up Weekend
Summer Break is just around the corner, and we are excited to celebrate the end of the school year with your child by moving them up to their next Kidside Environment!
In Kidside, school-age children are assigned an environment based on their grade level in the school system.
They remain in that environment for an entire school year. We promote children to the next grade on Move Up Weekend, the weekend that summer break begins.
**Incoming 6th graders are welcome to attend Kidside Services until NSM Summer Nights kickoff on June 28th.**
If your child will be repeating or skipping a grade, you can email us at kidside@mynorthside.com, and we will update their profile accordingly.

Move Up Weekend is here! This year it will take place on May 30 & 31.
Here is what you can expect:
Tag Changes: On May 30 & 31, your child’s room assignment will update on their check-in tags.
Current 4-Year-Olds: These children will move upstairs to one of our Pre·K classrooms.
Turning 4 Soon? If your child turns 4 between June 1 and July 31, they will move up the weekend after their birthday.
Current Pre·K – 1st Grade: These children will stay upstairs but receive a new classroom assignment based on their upcoming grade level.
Current 2nd Graders: It’s time for a big move! They will now go downstairs to the Kidside Auditorium with our 3rd–5th graders.
Current 5th Graders: They’re almost ready for Northside Student Ministries! They are welcome to continue attending in the Kidside Auditorium through June 20 & 21. After that, they’ll be invited to join the main service with their families in the mornings, and NSM Summer Nights on Sundays starting June 28!
**Age 3 & Under: Children who are currently 3 years old or younger will remain in their current environments.
